I am a lifelong learner.
In third grade, my favorite place was my grandma’s house. She ran a tech company, and I’d spend hours drawing in Microsoft Paint on her computers. I loved it so much that when asked to name my hero, I picked her without hesitation.
That early love for art and tech stuck with me and led me to study design in college. But doubt crept in—I wondered if I was limiting myself—so I stepped away from school for a while. A few years later, I returned aiming for radiology, but after shadowing at a hospital, I realized something was missing. That same night, I switched my major back to Graphic Design.
It reignited the joy I felt as a kid. In my final year, I took a portfolio class where I first heard about Design On Edge. I applied, got the job, and three years later, I’m still there, growing every day.
Even with a job I love, I’m finishing my BFA—not because I have to, but because I never want to stop learning. For me, design isn’t just a career—it’s a lifelong passion.
