For the Reno Philharmonic’s largest annual fundraiser, Pops on the River 2024, the theme “Nashville to Neon” celebrated the iconic sounds of country music—from legends like Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton to modern stars like Kacey Musgraves. To bring this theme to life visually, I created a series of custom illustrated cowboy boots, each inspired by one of these three artists. Each boot design embodied the personality and style of its muse, capturing the grit, glamour, and glow of their music. The selected artists were chosen to resonate with different segments of the audience, uniting fans of classic, timeless country with those who love its bold, modern evolution.
